Frazier Outfitting offers guided fishing fly fishing trips with either horseback access, hike in access or even truck access for amazing fishing opportunities. We offer either day trips or overnight pack trips to some of the finest back country water in the state of Colorado. The upper Rio Grande Valley offers tons of fishing opportunities, but many of the best are accessible only with a very long hike or a short horse ride. We can take you on horseback to several different streams, rivers and even high country lakes where the fish are plentiful and beautiful. All of these rivers, streams and lakes receive minimal fishing pressure and offer quality back country fishing for native Rio Grande cutthroat, brooks, browns and rainbows. Sizes and quantities vary by location and fishing pressure but most of our guests are amazed at the size of the fish that come out of these waters. We can match your trip to the type water you like and what criteria you use to define a successful day of fishing. Some people like a lot of fish, some big fish and some just want to sit by the stream and soak it all in. We can arrange a trip customized to the fishing experience you want and for all levels of angling skill.
We love teaching fly fishing and guiding you to a fishing experience you will never forget. Whether you have never fly fished before, or are an experienced angler we can find ways to improve your fishing experiences. We can either provide you equipment or you can bring all of your own fishing equipment. Keep in mind the variations in temperature ranges and the chances of rain, so dressing in layers with access to your rain gear is imperative. If we are going on a horseback trip remember your gear must pack easily onto horseback so multiple piece sectioned rods that are easy to transport and all gear must be organized to pack on horseback.
